Occupational Safety Specialist

PT SafetyFirst Indonesia is a leading safety consulting firm in Indonesia, dedicated to protecting workers and the environment. We are looking for an Occupational Safety Specialist to join our team in Pangkal Pinang, Bangka Belitung. In this role, you will develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive safety protocols to ensure a secure and healthy work environment for our employees in mining and industrial operations.

As an Occupational Safety Specialist at PT SafetyFirst Indonesia, you will be responsible for conducting safety inspections, risk assessments, and training programs. You will work closely with management and employees to promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with national and international safety standards.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures for mining and industrial operations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
• Monitor and evaluate safety performance to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
• Provide safety training and education to employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with management to develop and maintain a strong safety culture within the organization.
• Ensure compliance with national and international safety regulations and standards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety documentation and records.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), Safety Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in occupational safety and health, preferably in the mining or industrial sector.
• Certification as an Occupational Safety and Health Professional (OSH Professional) or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of national and international safety regulations and standards, such as OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001, and relevant local laws.
• Proficient in using safety management software, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with management, employees, and contractors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and mitigate safety risks.
